Her research, entitled "Web Conference vs. Webcast: The Perceived Effectiveness of Training Sessions at a Southeastern Community College," provided positive results Dr. Jones is sharing with this community college and others interested in providing effective web conference and web cast training. The dissertation defense, held in Room 252 of the Industrial Education Building, was attended by Dr. Connie Forde and Dr. Joanne Beriswill, co-directors of the dissertation, Dr. James Adams and Dr. Stephanie King, committee members, Dr. Corlis Johnson, outside faculty observer assigned by the Graduate School, and three doctoral candidates wishing to observe a dissertation defense.
